The perfect team... Updated with all DLCs + video

Javik rescuing a dazed Shepard from the Reaper Brutes in the last Leviathan mission is only one example of ingame flexibility when it comes to Shep's squad.

The following list will help you getting the most screen time and dialogues with Javik in Mass Effect 3…

The Prothean has about 900 audio files available but many dialogues or interactions won’t be triggered until you pick a certain setup for your missions. I played and re-played all the missions with every possible combination until I had the most satisfying results. BTW, I always pick Javik as the first squad mate before I choose the second one. It mattered in Dragon Age Origins who the first one was but it doesn’t in Mass Effect. I still stick to this setup just out of habit.

The ME3 ending is bugged, however. The flashback scenes are supposed to show not only the LI but the most used companion as well. And I tried it many times (even with a checklist, keeping tabs on the squad usage), the Prothean only showed up once in the flashbacks. So don’t bother with the mini-vids when you’re at the Catalyst, they always show a random mix (despite Anderson (for the destruction ending) and the LI, if you had one) and not what they’re supposed to do.
